Recently I published a book showcasing some photography I've taken of real skull specimens. This book gave me an opportunity to share how inspiring skulls can be. I find skulls to be a proper representation of how, underneath the surface, we are all so much the same. We are all mortals, with the same basic structure and foundations. In death, we aren't fighting over skin color, class, religion, monetary items, or lines in the sand. I use these photographs to provide me with realistic references for the tattoos I create. Each crack, line, indent, shape, and shadow is carefully considered during my artistic process. I hope my inspiration can inspire you!
